Why?

This is a digital advertising screen like no other. It warrants a video all to itself so buyers from London based media agencies can truly appreciate its impact and dominance. What?

This video looks at one giant digital advertising screen that dominates the Clydeside Expressway as you enter and leave Glasgow. Forrest pioneered large format digital roadside and their CityScreens™ have been hugely influential in the general development of the UK digital-out-of-home market. They launched the UK’s first commercial digital roadside screen (outside of the famous Piccadilly Lights) in Glasgow back in 2003 and also devised the digital ‘loop’ which established the trading format across the industry. Forrest introduced digital day-part advertising, enabling brands to target specific audiences and demographic groups within the most appropriate timeframe. With people spending more time outdoors, it is clear that “out of home” advertising is becoming more relevant and Forrest is committed to continued premium investment, bringing the best possible outdoor platforms to the marketplace.

How?

This stunning two-sided digital advertising display is located on one of Glasgow’s busiest dual carriageways. To capture the scale, traffic and impact of the adverts we shot a series of time-lapse sequences at dusk along with traditional video footage. We also filmed a drive-by with a specialised gimbal that allowed full control and stabilisation of the camera from within the moving vehicle. In post-production a number of sales statistics have been added with dynamic graphics and special FX resulting in a fast-paced and engaging film. Find out more
