Cello Android TV
British made Smart TV with Google Assistant
Why?
When Cello Electronics launched their first official Android TV, they initially targeted online sales through Amazon and other prominent etailer sites. In order to support this, they asked TMC to produce a short video to demonstrate the features and benefits of the TV.
What?
This is a product demo video that explains the Android TV concept to the consumer. It is just over two minutes in length and is being used to great success on e-commerce websites such as Amazon.
How?
The video was created during lockdown, so filming opportunities were very limited. Therefore, everything has been visualised using 3D video renders with supporting animations and graphics. We also wrote a script to help sell the TV and recorded a professional voiceover.
"Always a pleasure to work with, very creative and professional."

Cello Android TV
Welcome to Cello Android TV, developed in partnership with Google, this is the all-new smart way to watch TV.
Powered by Android’s operating system and Google Assistant for voice activation, these TVs deliver content discovery like never before.
The user interface has been re-invented and specifically designed by Google for TV devices. A world of streaming, live TV, apps and games has been brought together in one place for intuitive use and enjoyment.
All the most popular entertainment apps are either pre-loaded or available for download from the Google Play store for Android TV.
Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, YouTube, BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and All 4 are just some of the seamless choices available. You can also access the most popular apps directly via the remote handset.
For even greater convenience, Android TV now has Google Assistant built-in. Just say “Ok Google” or press the mic button on the remote to quickly find the latest movies, check the football scores or control home devices.
“Ok Google….play Jack Ryan”
“Ok Google…dim the lights”
Another Google technology included in the TVs is Chromecast. This means you can cast photos, videos, music and other content from your favourite devices straight to the TV.
The Cello Android TVs also come with Freeview Play, adding 85 channels and 20,000 hours of on demand content through one intuitive interface. By going backwards or forwards through the TV guide, it’s easy to access previously missed shows or schedule upcoming recordings.
Plus, the Freeview Play hub allows the user to view content by category or catch-up player alongside hand-picked recommendations.
Available in screen sizes from 24” to 50”, the Android TV series has been designed to ensure the most popular content is always available front and centre.
This is a significant partnership between Cello and Google, bringing together the best of technology, content and software to meet the diverse demands of modern TV consumption.
