Why?
QHotels already had video tour assets for most of their hotels, but they wanted to significantly improve the production quality. The meetings and events facilities were of particular importance to the group, so for this video and all in the series M&E dominates the early part of the film sequence. The hotel videos have been used on the hotel websites as well as for social media and sales presentations.
What?
Short promotional video for the hotel designed to take in all aspects of the venue from meeting rooms to golf and food/drink to bedrooms. Nestled in 1,000 acres of beautiful Northumberland countryside, Slaley Hall is a wonderful Edwardian mansion full of charm and character. With 141 bedrooms guests have access to a luxury health club and spa as well as the renowned golf facilities. Dining includes Hadrian’s Brasserie and The Claret Jug, along with The Dukes where afternoon tea is served. Outdoors there is fishing, archery and clay pigeon shooting.
How?
We proposed a style of constant movement in slow motion designed to lead the viewer on an inspiring journey through each hotel. For Slaley Hall, we also captured aerial drone footage which worked well in doing justice to the setting as well as the extensive golf facilities. We filmed Slaley Hall and its golf resort as part of a wider project for QHotels that included 14 hotels in their portfolio. The brief was to create a 2-minute promotional taster for each hotel. The films have been very well received with this particular style providing a great solution for all of the 4-star hotels in the QHotels collection.
