Business and leisure location set in 17 acres of Oxfordshire countryside
Why?
Short promotional video for the hotel designed to take in all aspects of the venue from meeting rooms to leisure and food/drink to bedrooms. We filmed The Oxford Belfry as part of a wider project for QHotels that included 14 hotels in their portfolio. The brief was to create a 2-minute promotional teaser for each hotel that focused on conference and events first and foremost. Many of the hotels feature outstanding leisure facilities, but these are of secondary importance within the films.
What?
The Oxford Belfry is situated just off the M40. With its great location, The Oxford Belfry lends itself as both a business or leisure destination. Set in 17 acres of beautiful grounds, the hotel also has 17 conference and meeting rooms holding up to 450 delegates, the flexibility of their space and the professionalism of the team ensure that any event will run smoothly and efficiently. After a long day of business, sightseeing or retail therapy, relax in the Health Club with a fully equipped gym, indoor pool and two tennis courts.
How?
QHotels already had video tour assets for most of their hotels, but they wanted to significantly improve the production quality. The meetings and events facilities were of particular importance to the group, so for this video and all in the series M&E dominates the early part of the film sequence. The hotel videos have been used on the hotel websites as well as for social media and sales presentations. We proposed a style of constant movement in slow motion designed to lead the viewer on an inspiring journey through each hotel. The hotel videos have been very well received with this particular style providing a great solution for all of the 4-star hotels in the QHotels collection.
