Why?
TMC was commissioned to produce a series of videos that focus on their various branch locations throughout London. This is a client testimonial video that also serves as a useful area guide for Primrose Hill. Getting clients on camera talking positively about your brand and their customer service experience is hugely powerful. John D Wood have produced a number of these videos with TMC. Focusing on specific areas around London, they also use the videos to guide clients on what it is like to live in an area – in this case Primrose Hill.
What?
Primrose Hill is one of a series and will be followed by the remaining branch network in line with their planned refurbishments. The brief for this video production was to capture the essence of Primrose Hill and what it is like to live there. We developed the authenticity of the brand by interviewing two clients who lived in the area – one lettings and one sales. The clients shared their experience of living in Primrose Hill whilst explaining how John D Wood have helped them to successfully buy, sell and rent properties.
How?
We filmed this over one day. As with all our video production projects we worked with the client beforehand to establish the message, tone of voice and key objectives. The video production has been very well received and is embedded on the John D Wood website under the Primrose Hill location. These kind of client testimonial videos are highly effective for our clients as they subtly sell their message whilst giving their potential customers value-added information. It’s all about delivering great content and this video production does that exceptionally well.

Caroline Levine, sales client: Primrose hill, for me, is a fantastic area which is incredibly happy. You come out in the mornings, early in the mornings and you have your coffee, you’ve got your butcher here, you’ve got Yeomans here, you’ve got everything. It’s a very tight community and it gives you a lovely family feel.
Marcia Barrington, lettings client: I think people are attracted to Primrose Hill because it’s really, really convenient for the west end and I think you don’t even need to commute you can just walk through Regent’s park and you are in Marlebone, it’s fantastic.
Caroline: When I first came to look at the area, I chose John D Wood because they represent a very firm, reliable company. They know what they’re doing.
Marcia: The thing about John D Wood is that because of their sort of longevity in the area, I think they have a real understanding and knowledge of the properties in the area, the types of property, the types of owners, the types of tenants, and I think they can marry all that sort of information us really well.
Caroline: The John D Wood brand is hugely important to me to get buyers locally, nationally and internationally. So when I started doing the house up, I called Chris in from John D Wood who came in and advised me so that I was able to get the optimum price when I sold it.
Marcia: Throughout the sort of looking for tenant process while people are going in to my property, there’s always great feedback and I never feel out of the loop.
